[F1 Blog] F1 Explainer: Silverstone ‘under construction’

I'm starting a new series on my weblog called F1 Explainer and this is the first article I've posted. I've found I really enjoy writing about F1 so this is my new hobby. I get to do some research then in this series I want to distill an ongoing story to its bare essentials so the casual F1 fan can get the gist of it. This idea was actually suggested to me by few people who lurk the forum and the blog.

Anyway the latest post tries to explain what's been going on at Silverstone. It's kind of long and I know it's not the most riveting topic but I found the infighting and politics of the BRDC fascinating so I didn't mind writing about it.

Up next I'm planning a history of the Concorde Agreement and the upcoming push to have the GPMA sign on to the new agreement.

Very cool idea! I think the blog could pick up a large following over time, and they're going to want to talk about it and obviously FMB is already in place for that - perhaps then the board could get some decent F1 discussion again, rather than most of the crap we get these days (besides what t_f_m and I post ofcourse)
