It's not luck anymore if it happens 8 races in a row!

GridBids 2012 09-Britain

Postby Waldorf » Sun Jul 08, 2012 12:20 pm

An interesting race that has shaken up the group standings. The top race score of 65 was shared by qbie (yes, you read that correctly!) and ghost_who_walks. The latter has vaulted into a commanding lead in the overall standings, 29 points in front of mawerick. Our previous leader chose a spectacularly poor week to begin trash-talking, as he scored a pitiful 19 points to drop into 3rd overall.

Twas too good to be true, should have traded both Perez and Maldonado for one Webber and I would have been alright, but hindsight is 20/20. Also willing MS to do well doesn't make it so...

Sadly I picked Webber in my first draft of GB, but traded him for Grosjean and Perez. Any other race, that would have been a safe bet.

Due to my major sucking lately, I've gone with a very risky and very different strategy. It'll probably fail miserably, but hey, why the hell not?

I think theoretical maximum is 88 points, the top 6.

Had Button, Vettel, Raikkonen and Webber. Just 49 points then.

GridBids 2012 - Germany

Postby Waldorf » Sun Jul 22, 2012 11:56 am

Megallos takes the race win with a very tidy 73 points, well clear of anyone else in the group. In the season standings, ghost_who_walks has increased his sizeable lead over noodle and mawerick in our group, and sits 4th overall in the entire competition.

Dagnabbit.... pretty decent in the end, but ghost is starting to take this game seriously! I need wacky race results back to regain the lead!

Tankslapper takes the round with a mighty 84 points, while ghost_who_walks heads into the break with a 55-point lead over noodle in our group, and 3rd overall.
