I still have my trusty old Microsoft Sidewinder wheel, so I'll start with that one.

I'm starting to plan a new computer build, so hopefully I'll be able to play rF2 before too long!

Didn't have much time to try the update, just did 4 or 5 laps round Monaco in an F1. Couldn't notice a whole lot of difference physics-wise.

Apparently it was mainly a software performance update improving framerates. Minimal tinkering with the other stuff.

Can't wait for the extra car and track to come out. Hopefully in the next update. Huuurrrryyyy uuuuuppppp!!!

Spent half an hour offline at Monaco - 1:24.322.

NAILED the chicane. Final corner was rather scrappy, as was the corner onto the back straight.

Love it. Love it love it love it love it. Love it.

Everything happens in a matter of seconds. Complete boot from shutdown takes maybe 30 secs. Firefox with all its extras launches in about one second. I love SSD.

I wanted to get one so badly with my system, but after the Thai floods HDDs skyrocketed, and I just couldn't financially justify it.

I'll probably pull the trigger when they drop to AUD$200 for 200Gb. Still a way to go for that though .

Oooo. Extra track included with the GTs as well! Palm Beach.

That brings the number of track (not including different layouts of some tracks): six (Estoril modern, Belgium 1967, Sepang modern, Mills fictional modern, Monaco 1966, Palm Beach fictional (?) modern).

I know I go on and on and on and on about this game, but it ROCKS.

Spent the afternoon/evening playing with the GTs. Good fun.

But after all that, to not lose my touch, went back to the F1s at Spa. The sense of speed after being in a closed cockpit was mind blowing. And I was .4 away from my PB. Raaarrghh!

Spent three hours at it today.

Couldn't beat Monaco PB . Adding up my best sectors, have another .75 in me currently.

Meanwhile, at Spa! 3:22.225! Fluffed the last corner pretty bad, too. Aside from the last corner loss in time, I don't think I have any big gains left in me (maybe .5 if I nailed everything). Would really need to work on the setup for more time.

It's not, I haven't had time to do any driving (other than a quick dab with keyb). I did pay for lifetime online access though, so one of these days...

Did some F3s and that was fun.

But had my first proper crack at Formula Renault 3.5. My word those cars are tough. They have no grip at low speeds and slow corners + cold tyres = Eeeeep!

Some fun community made tracks are starting to appear.

Did more F3 racing today... Holy crap it's fun. I'm starting to think that F3s might be even better to use for FMBL than F1 or F2. There's a couple of full time F3 servers running, and they're the most popular too.

Anyone interested in going racing some time?

Also downloaded ISI's Renault Megane mod. They're pretty fun to drive as well.
